The Marvel Cinematic Universe and Marvel Comics are, by necessity, different. In adapting comic storylines like Infinity War, Age of Ultron, and Ragnarok, heavy changes often have to be made. These changes have added up over the years and made the MCU an entirely different canon from the comics.
